Warranty Conditions

General Warranty Terms and Conditions:

Shoreline (UK) Ltd warrants all its free-standing solid and glass door pharmacy refrigerators and CRT cabinets to be free from material defects in our design, materials used, and workmanship for a period of 60 months from the date of delivery to the end-user.

During the warranty period:

  1. We will either repair or replace the faulty item or component at our discretion provided that the product had been installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with Shoreline’s instructions as supplied with each product, and is subject to the conditions laid out in these warranty terms and conditions.
  2. Depending upon the nature of the fault reported, it might be necessary for the product to be returned to our workshops for an assessment and possible subsequent repair or replacement. Where a replacement is approved instead of a repair, the replacement may be of similar age and in similar condition as the original product, and any residual warranty period will be applied to the replacement product.
  3. Shoreline cannot be held responsible for any consequential loss or damage to the customer’s stored materials in the product, however caused. We further recommend that the customer seeks insurance cover for any such stored materials from any loss that may occur from any failure or fault with our product.

Exclusions and Limitations:

This warranty shall not apply to the following:

  1. Consumable components such as; tungsten lamps, fluorescent tubes, and fuses are subject to a maximum 12 months warranty. These are supplied as ‘parts only,’ and the customer will be required to make their arrangements for the fitting of these parts.
  2. Potentially high wear and tear items such as locks and keys and lock alignment, adjustable feet, castors, power leads, and plugs are limited to a maximum 24-month warranty. Replacement keys are available at a charge – price on application.
  3. Any faults arising from fair wear and tear, misuse by the user, accidental damage, modification, incorrect or failed power supply to the product, failure to adhere to Shoreline’s installation and user instructions, incorrect storage of the product or its environmental conditions, deliberate damage are not covered under the terms of this warranty.
  4. On-site repairs can only be offered to customers with products located within mainland Great Britain, Northern Ireland, and Isle of Wight. Products that are located outside of these areas may have to be returned back to Shoreline or repaired under the conditions of sale issued by the vendor of the Product.
  5. The cost of transport of products or spare parts to and from locations outside these areas is not covered under this warranty.
  6. Shoreline reserves the right to charge the customer of a claim under this warranty if the product is subsequently found to be not faulty. Such charges will be made at our prevailing labour rates for labour, parts, or shipping, and any other associated costs incurred by Shoreline.
  7. Any exclusion contained within this warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

Free Calibration Offer and Reservations:

Shoreline (UK) Ltd may offer a free calibration service for pharmacy refrigerators and CRT cabinets under specific conditions. The availability of this offer is subject to the following:

  1. Eligibility: The free calibration offer applies to Shoreline pharmacy refrigerators and CRT cabinets only and is subject to the sole discretion of Shoreline (UK) Ltd.
  2. Offer Duration: The free calibration offer is valid for a limited time as specified by Shoreline (UK) Ltd. The company reserves the right to modify or terminate this offer at any time without prior notice.
  3. Termination: Shoreline (UK) Ltd reserves the right to stop the free calibration offer without providing any notice to customers or end-users. In the event of termination, the offer will no longer be available for any future purchases or existing products.
  4. Scope of Offer: The free calibration offer is specific to the calibration service of pharmacy refrigerators and CRT cabinets provided by Shoreline (UK) Ltd. This offer does not extend to any other products or services offered by the company.
  5. No Cash Value: The free calibration offer holds no cash value and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash or any other form of compensation.
  6. Non-Transferable: The offer is non-transferable and can only be availed by the original purchaser of Shoreline pharmacy refrigerators and CRT cabinets.
  7. Modification of Terms: Shoreline (UK) Ltd reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of the free calibration offer at any time, with changes becoming effective immediately upon posting the updated terms on its website or other official communication channels.
  8. Discretionary Nature: The decision to provide the free calibration service under this offer remains at the sole discretion of Shoreline (UK) Ltd. The company may deny or refuse the offer to any customer or end-user without providing any reason.

Governing Law:

The warranty terms and conditions, including the free calibration offer and its terms, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

By availing of the free calibration offer or using the products covered under this warranty, customers and end-users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined above.
